Inks used: chocolate chip and mellow moss

Christmas dove...

Good morning! I have really been enjoying stamping with this set Gifts of Christmas! Not only do I love the image but really like the sentiment for the inside of the card as well. I still have lots of Christmas cards to make before I will have enough for everyone on my list, but it feels great to be getting a head start this year!
Thanks for stopping by!

Season of Thanksgiving...

I do so enjoy stamping with this great set Season of Friendship! I especially like that I can combine it with so many different sentiments and colours for the 4 seasons we enjoy here in Canada :) It is a versatile set that way!

My card was inspired by one I saw in the 08' Holiday Mini. I'm glad I've kept a copy of the SU Mini's as there are so many great ideas in them.

Autumn Vine dsp, more mustard, chocolate chip, really rust and whisper white card stock were used for this. The ink colours are, sage shadow, more mustard, really rust and chocolate chip.

Feels a little like Fall here today with the return of some cooler temperatures...hope it is still a while yet before the season arrives I'm not ready for summer to be over!

Have a wonderful day!

A Cardinal Christmas...

I have another Christmas card to share today, this one has the same traditional Christmas colours as the ones I posted yesterday but uses A Christmas Cardinal stamp set. I recently purchased this set, so I am looking forward to creating several cards for the holidays this year with it.

Here are the colours and accessories used for the card - old olive dsp, whisper white, chocolate chip and cherry cobbler papers and inks, the square lattice embossing folder, brass brads, old olive satin ribbon, oval nestabilties and the ticket corner punch.

Gifts of Christmas x 2...

Good morning! Today, I have two cards to share again. Both use the stamp set Gifts of Christmas and have the same layout. I added gold elastic cording and a button to this first card and the dsp is Merry Moments. I also pierced along the edges of the main panel.

Below on the second card I changed the ribbon to white taffeta and used a different piece of dsp also from Merry Moments.
Here is a picture of the two cards side by side, I will be making quite a few of these for Christmas this year. I like the simplicity of them and the ease in which they went together.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day.

Urban Garden paper...

Same basic layout, same Urban Garden papers, but different stamps.

I still have lots of this Urban Garden Paper to use up and I have lots of family and friends that love the colour blue so it will be good to have these cards on hand for birthdays.

I haven't used the Asian Artistry set very often so I used one of the images from it on the first card here.

The Hydrangea image on the second card is from the new hostess set Because I Care.

The ink colours are kiwi kiss and not quite navy and Stazon black.
Have a great Saturday!

Birthday Whimsy...

I'm back today with another birthday card. I think this is a good masculine card, I kept it simple and only added the one copper embellishment with the ribbon.

I really like this new colour Marina Mist it coordinates so nicely with many of the other colours.

I stamped the presents using an older set called Birthday Whimsy and then stamped one of the sentiments from the new hostess set Afterthoughts. The presents are popped up on dimensionals. This was a quick and easy card - great when you need something at the last minute.

Enjoy your day!

Supplies:
Stamps: Birthday Whimsy, Afterthoughts
Inks & Markers: marina mist, chocolate chip, so saffron
Paper: marina mist and so saffron dsp-patterns stack, whisper white, chocolate chip
Accessories: chocolate chip satin ribbon, copper hardware, dimensionals

On a Pedestal...

Hi there! It was a rainy day here today and I finally made it into my stamp room to create a few cards! It was nice to use a few of the new things I bought, like the square lattice embossing folder seen above.

The ink colours for this card are: regal rose, chocolate chip, so saffron, pretty in pink and bashful blue. The cardstock is chocolate chip, whisper white, pretty in pink, bashful blue and so saffron.

Hope you are enjoying the summer!
