Changito thank U...

I picked up this Stampendous stamp called Changito thank u at Mike's a few weeks ago and this is the first time I've used it.
Makes a cute 'thank u 'card I think :)
Happy stampin'

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampendous - Changito thank u
Inks & Markers: brown stazon, pumpkin pie, pretty in pink, creamy caramel, chocolate chip
Paper: chocolate chip, pretty in pink, sweet always, whisper white
Accessories: pink striped ribbon, dimensionals

Congrats...

Good morning, it is snowing here today...again!!! Definitely not very spring-like weather out there:(
I had some time this morning to make a Graduation card for my son. He graduates this coming June so I will be needing this very soon :)
I used today's SFYTT from i{heart}2stamp and this is also for IC177 on SCS. I chose the Stars Kleenex box for my inspiration today!

I used my bigshot and Stars#2 die to cut out the gold star and then matted it with the black and gray cs. I wrapped silver elastic cording around it just to give it some shine and make it more of a focal point.
I stamped the 'Congratulations' from the Congrats set on white and added some black brads.
The paper is leftover from some scrapbook pages I made.

Supplies:
Stamps: Congrats
Inks & Markers: black stazon
Paper: basic black, basic gray, whisper white
Accessories: silver elsatic cording, black brads, mat pack, bigshot and stars #2 die, dimensionals

Lovely Lighthouse...

This is for the limited supply challenge today #217 - to create a card with some of the colours from your home. I chose my stamping room, which has Labrador blue walls and touches of chocolate brown and white. The lighthouse from Light Unto my
Path was stamped in chocolate chip onto very vanilla cs.
I Love how the parisian breeze specialty paper has a weathered look to it in the bottom left corner :) The 'Thanks so much' sentiment comes from Sincere Salutations and was also stamped in chocolate chip ink.
Since this was a limited supply challenge the only embellishment was a piece of kraft taffeta ribbon!
Bye for now,

Supplies:
Stamps: Light unto my path, sincere salutations
Inks & Markers: chocolate chip
Paper: parisian breeze, kraft, very vanilla, chcoalte chip, baja breeze
Accessories: kraft taffeta ribbon, large oval punch, mat pack, dimensionals

Fabulous Friend Oval All...

Good morning! Well, we did get a bit of snow last night and it was very windy - today it is sunny and a chilly -5 C right now. I guess my yard work will have to wait a little while longer :)

I have this card to show you today which uses two sets - Great Friend and Oval All. I started with an older sketch from i{heart}2stamp's sfytt back in March. I really liked this sketch and wanted to make another card with it! I love this new scallop oval punch from SU as I do use a lot of ovals for sentiments on my cards, punches are so quick and easy to use:)

Happy Friday everyone, I hope you have a fantastic weekend!

Thanks for dropping by today :)

Stamps: Great Friend, Oval All
Inks & Markers: regal rose, basic gray

WT215, make a quilt!

Well, it doesn't get much simpler than this...truly this card was a snap to make and took all of 15 minutes. The time consuming part was colouring the little quilt blocks with my blender pen and all of the in colours. I made it for today's Ways to Use it Challenge #215 on SCS - to use white cardstock only! When I saw that challenge this morning I immediately knew I wanted to make a very simple card. I like how it turned out and it doesn't have any ribbon, or brads or texture or dsp or piercing or buttons or....LOL :)

Have a great evening!

Supplies:
Stamps: Quilt Quips
Inks & Markers: in colours
Paper: white cs
Accessories: stampamajig

Great Friend Tree...

I've had these rhinestone flower stickers sitting in a little basket on my desk for quite a while now - I decided it was time to get them onto a card :) I really enjoy using this tree from the Thoughts & Prayers set, I think it looks really nice with the top note die shape too :) The rhinestone flowers are a perfect colour match to rose red so I used the raspberry tart paper to coordinate with them. The sentiment is from the set Great Friend from the Spring Mini.
Apparently, it is snowing a lot south of here so I am keeping my fingers crossed we don't see any of the white stuff in our area, especially since I had my snow tires taken off my SUV today!
Cheers,

Supplies:
Stamps: great friend, thoughts and prayers
Inks & Markers: kiwi kiss, rose red
Paper: raspberry tart, rose red, kiwi kiss, whisper white
Accessories: spiral clip, rhinestone stickers, rose red ribbon, top note die and the bigshot, dimensionals

Good morning! I made this up for i{heart}2stamp's SFYTT, you can view the sketch for this week here.

I added a few buttons in the corner of the image and that was it. I kept the background simple as I wanted the focal point to be the main image and the buttons :-)
Well, that's all for me for today I hope you have a great day and thank you for dropping by!

Anyways, onto the card pictured above. Today's Mojo Monday sketch #82 seen here is a nice simple sketch and makes for a quick card! Ringette Scrapbook Pages

Hi there! This post is for Leanne's benefit...she asked me about ringette. I hope this helps Leanne. It is like hockey only with a straight stick and a ring, it is a popular sport in Canada, Finland , Sweden and the Czech Republic . (I may have missed a few other countries there but you get the idea). It is a fast paced game with lots of passing, scoring and skill - I love to watch the girls play! Canada has a National Team that travels to Europe for tournaments.

I have been working on these scrapbook pages and others using pictures from last year's Canadian Ringette Championships - the ski slope and walk in the park dsp from SU made it easy to complete. Sometimes red's are hard to work with to get the right shade but I'm happy with how this turned out.

I don't have a card to share today, I'll be back tomorrow with something though. Thanks for stopping by, have a great evening!

Beth
Supplies:
Stamps: none :(
Inks & Markers: computer generated journalling
Paper: ski slope dsp, walk in the park dsp, basic black, going gray, basic gray, whisper white

A tisket a tasket...

...a little bunny in a basket! lol Good morning! This card is for this weeks SFYTT by Jen over at the i{heart}2stamp blog found here: http://iheart2stamp.com/2009/04/04/first-saturday-of-the-month-2/ What a great sketch! Thanks Jen!
I used the little bunny in the basket from the Serene Spring set and used some more Sweet Always dsp which is new to me so I'm liking it :) I purposely left the bunny white and just added the pink nose! On the inside of the card I stamped the small sentiment "special easter wishes" from the Loads of Love set - I used the 1" and 1 1/4" circle punches for that.
I hope to be back later on with a coordinating Easter basket (you know the ones everyone has been making lately) :-)
Bye for now,
Beth

You're a Great Friend...

This is for today's Inspiration Challenge#174 - products from French Bull were the inspiration today. I was inspired by these Pink Isis Salad Servers seen here: http://www.frenchbull.com/our_store/salad-servers/Pink-Isis-Salad-Servers
I have seen this bird nest on several cards in the SCS gallery and I wanted to try my hand at it (to give credit for the bird nest idea the 2 I've seen were made by Atomic Butterfly and It's a Stamp Thing). I used Sweet Always paper, buttons from my stash and popped up the flowers on dimensionals :)
Have a great evening!

Green Tea anyone?

Hello and happy Saturday! I wasn't able to post anything yesterday as my camera went off to the National Ringette Tournament in PEI with my DH and DD and will be MIA :) My son returned from a trip skiing in the mountains last night so I was able to comandeer his camera and will not let it leave my sight until mine returns lol !!! I think I mentioned in my previous post how depleted my stash of thank you cards is and that I would be posting several new ones over the next little while...well, here are two more I made. Using up some of my retired Green Tea dsp and stamping with Eastern Blooms (love this set!) on these two cards.

Can you spot the difference on them?

I just changed the position of the flowers on the second one, the rest of the card is exactly the same. I embossed across the baja breeze cardstock with an embossing border just to add a subtle texture to the background.
Have a great evening!
Beth

I {heart} Heartfelt Thanks and Bloomin' Beautiful...

Hi there! Well, things seem to be warming up and the snow is melting outside now, the last few days have been very nice. Here's hoping the weather keeps improving and that we will all be able to get outside and enjoy some glorious spring days!!!
Today's card is another thank you, as I have depleted my stash of them drastically over the last month and I need to replenish! Nothing fancy on this one and a similar layout to yesterday, but I did create my own little embellishment - the heart! I started with a clear acrylic heart and applied anywhere glue stick to a small piece of Green Tea dsp and adhered the heart. Then I cut out around the shape and added the "Thanks" rub on! I think it's pretty cute :) lol. Instead of using the Heartfelt flower image I changed it up a bit today and stamped the Bloomin' Beautiful flower instead. I cut out a scalloped rectangle using my nestabilities and Big Shot for a frame, and then cut two scalloped edges using the same die and very vanilla to edge the dsp with the same size scallops. There is a little dazzling diamonds added to the centre of the flower and the swiss dots embossing folder creates a little background texture! On the inside of the card I added very vanilla cs and used a Stampin' Around wheel along the bottom edge.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you get some stamping time today :)
Beth
