Happy Holidays...
This is for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #47. You can view the sketch and more cards created using it on her blog here.I watercoloured the snowmen from the More the Merrier set onto a piece of watercolour paper that was cut out using a nestability die and the big shot machine. I cut the next largest shape out in real red to frame it. The sentiment is from Many Merry Messages and is stamped in chocolate chip ink onto very vanilla. The buttons are from my LSS and the dp is Merry Moments.

Holly Jolly Christmas...

Good morning! Last night I had time to make this quick card - using up some old scrapbooking papers from my stash :) It is difficult to see in the photo but I stamped the snowflakes from the Christmas Punch set in versamark ink onto the pink pirouette cs above the strip of snowmen! Then punched the sentiment out using the curly label punch and tucked the top edge under the ribbon. A super quick and easy card that showcases some fun papers. I think this would make a cute Christmas card for a child :)
Enjoy your day!

Boxed Top Note Tag Set...
This is the second set of top note tags and gift box I've made with gift giving for Christmas in mind. I made 6 tags this time around instead of the previous 4 - there is plenty of room in the box for 6 so may as well add 2 more tags :) You will find a tutorial for making the box on Andrea Walford's blog Sunny Stampin'.

Merry Moments Christmas cards...
Hi there, I have two cards to show you today, both are made with Merry Moments designer papers. On this first card, I used the Season of Joy stamp set.
This is a {case} of a card I saw by Andrea Walford. I really like how this ornament paper is the focal point of the card! The Season's Greetings sentiment is from the Many Merry Messages set.Hope you've had some time to stamp today :)

Pink Rose...

The Pals Paper Arts challenge this week is called "In the Pink" for Breast Cancer Awareness. Of course, we were to use pink on our cards - so I watercoloured this rose from the Fifth Avenue Floral set using 4 colours of pink :) they were pretty in pink, pink pirouette, rose red, and regal rose. I embossed the white background with the Manhattan Flower folder and attached the regal rose ribbon along the top. The 'hello' sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
Thanks for stopping by.

Starry Bermuda Birthday...

Today's Sweet Sunday Sketch found here - is super! I love this sketch and this is what I came up with. I have another idea in mind for this sketch as well so stay tuned for another post! I used in colours on this card with the Pun Fun and Lots of Thoughts stamp sets and Classic Stars wheel.
Winter Post Skaters...
Just playing around with my Winter Post set this morning. I love the vintage feel this set has and look forward to making more of these cards for Christmas. I think I'll use different colours (maybe soft sky and river rock would be nice!) and add some dazzling diamonds too!I cased this card from the SCS gallery and changed only a few things -
the RHR to ruby red and adhered the skaters straight instead of on an angle!
Cheers,
Falling Leaves...

Today's featured stamper on SCS is Miss Boo! This is the card I cased from her gallery. Jen has a very clean and simple style that I like very much. I stayed with the Fall theme and layout but changed the stamp set to Falling Leaves. I also added two extra layers of cardstock but kept everything else the same.
It feels good to be back in my stamp room!
Happy Sunday!

tis' the SEASON...
Hello there and thanks for being so patient with me, I know it has been quite sometime since my last card post, but it is with good reason! Taking care of the family comes first and everything else just has to take a back seat :) I am happy to report that now everyone in my family is well again after some nasty bugs and a very bad virus that had 3 out of 4 feeling lousy off and on for what has been 3 weeks all tolled! I was the 1 out of 4 that remained healthy - so I am crossing my fingers and toes I stay that way! It is a long winter flu and cold season here, so I'm sure I will have my turn at some point down the road :(Anyways, onto the card I have to share with you today... I started with the limited supply challenge today #244 on SCS - to use 2 snowflakes, 2 ribbons and 2 designer papers and your card should be themed around the weather outside your door as well. So since it is snowy and cold here I went with a Christmas themed card using the Season of Joy stamp set. I did go over the limit on the snowflakes because I used some Merry Moments designer paper, but I have the 2 ribbons - chocolate chip and real red ;) and the second designer paper is on the inside of the card. I also pulled out my neglected corner rounder to use on this card today, it hasn't seen much love lately!
Sure hope you are having a great day!
Cheers,

Supplies:
Stamps: Season of Joy
Inks & Markers: old olive
Paper: merry moments dp, old olive, real red, very vanilla, chocolate chip
Accessories: real red and chocolate chip ribbon, corner rounder

Sick Bay...
It has been a week of no posts for me! My son has been very sick with a horrible virus so this past week included 2 trips to the IV clinic at the hospital for him and lots of tending too by me :) Thankfully he is on the mend this week, but it has turned the house a bit upside down if you know what I mean. I will get things back on track today and after a day of cleaning and finishing up some overdue errands, etc I will have time to make a card or two to share :)
Back soon!
